When creating your account or resetting your password, TrustMe may send you a confirmation code by SMS.
If you don’t receive this code, a few checks can help you resolve the issue.
Check your mobile network connection
Since the confirmation code is sent by SMS, make sure your phone has good network coverage.
If your phone has poor reception or you’re in an area with weak signal, the SMS may take longer to arrive or may not be received at all.
We recommend checking your mobile network before requesting a new code.
Check your phone’s settings
Some phones automatically filter SMS messages from unknown numbers.
In particular, check your phone’s settings to make sure SMS messages from unknown numbers aren’t being blocked or filtered. This can happen on certain iPhone and Android devices.
When creating your account
If you don’t receive the code while creating your account, check that the phone number you entered is correct.
You’re using a foreign number
First select your country using the flag menu. The dialing code for your country will then be applied automatically. Then check that you’ve entered your phone number correctly.
You’re using an alternative carrier
Some phone carriers may have trouble receiving confirmation SMS messages. If you’re using an alternative carrier, particularly one offering prepaid SIM cards or specific mobile services, and you’re not receiving your code, we invite you to contact TrustMe support.
When resetting your password
If you request a code to reset your password and make several requests in a row, you may temporarily stop receiving SMS messages.
