Cookie Policy

1. Foreword

We want to inform you clearly and transparently about the use of cookies when you visit the trustmeid.io website, published by A3BC GROUP (hereinafter “A3BC GROUP” or “we”). This policy is coordinated with our Privacy Policy.

2. Preamble

When you visit this website, information relating to your device’s browsing activity may be stored in text files known as “cookies”, which are placed on your browser.

This policy is drafted in application of the following regulations:

  • Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés);
  • the GDPR (2016/679), in particular Article 7 on the conditions for obtaining consent;
  • the CNIL’s guidelines and recommendations of 17 September 2020 on cookies and other trackers.

3. Cookies used on this website

This website only uses cookies necessary for it to function, placed either directly by trustmeid.io or by Matomo, our audience measurement tool.

No advertising, personalisation or social media cookies are used.

No. Cookie name Category Purpose Retention period
1. _pk_id_* Necessary Audience measurement: anonymised visit identifier, in line with CNIL recommendations 13 months maximum
2. _pk_ref_* Necessary Audience measurement: source that referred the visit 6 months maximum
3. _pk_ses_* Necessary Audience measurement: temporary storage of data for the current visit 30 minutes

The website also uses a technical mechanism stored in the browser’s local storage (localStorage), not as a cookie, to avoid showing the information banner again once you have closed it. This information stays on your device and is never transmitted to A3BC GROUP.

4. Audience measurement cookies exempt from consent

In accordance with CNIL guidelines and the GDPR, audience measurement cookies that are strictly necessary for the website’s operation and analysis, and that do not enable individual tracking or cross-referencing with other processing, are exempt from prior consent.

We use Matomo, configured in accordance with CNIL recommendations, to produce anonymous traffic statistics. This configuration notably ensures that:

  • your IP address is anonymised as soon as it is collected;
  • the data collected is used exclusively for this website’s audience measurement, for our own exclusive purposes;
  • no cross-referencing is carried out with other processing;
  • the retention periods above are respected and reviewed regularly.

With this configuration, the use of Matomo on this website is exempt from prior consent. You are simply informed of it, in accordance with this policy.

5. Managing cookies

Although these cookies are exempt from consent, you may object to them at any time by configuring your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when they are set, or by deleting them directly.

Each browser’s configuration is different. It is described in your browser’s help menu — for example:
