Verifying your identity is an essential step to use TrustMe. It allows you to create your digital identity and secure your access to the various services and partners connected to TrustMe.
This verification notably ensures that you are indeed the person you claim to be, that the documents provided are authentic, and limits the risks of fraud.
What is my digital identity used for?
Once your identity has been verified, TrustMe automatically creates your digital identity.
This digital identity allows you to have a verified and secure identity, which you can reuse with the various services and partners connected to TrustMe.
For example, it can allow you to log in to FranceConnect and access the many services of the French government, such as taxes, family benefits (CAF), or health insurance. It can also be used for professional procedures, particularly with staffing agencies or other TrustMe partner companies.
Do I need to verify my identity for each partner?
No.
Your digital identity can be reused with the various partners connected to TrustMe. You therefore do not need to repeat a full identity verification each time you want to use a new service.
You nevertheless remain in control of your data: before sharing your identity or the requested documents with a partner, your consent is always required. You therefore choose the services and partners you wish to give access to your information.
Why does TrustMe verify several elements?
Identity verification does not consist solely of checking your ID document.
TrustMe carries out several checks to ensure that the identity presented is reliable and secure. These checks notably make it possible to:
