Which ID documents are accepted based on my country?

Last updated: August 5, 2026

To verify your identity on TrustMe, you need to provide an official ID document. Accepted documents depend on the country that issued your document.

How to read this list: for each country, one or more documents may be accepted depending on the country that issued them (passport, ID card, and/or residence permit). Use the filter below to show either all documents accepted on TrustMe, or only those usable to sign in via FranceConnect, which are sometimes more limited. This list may change; if in doubt about a specific country, contact TrustMe support.
