Important note: this check does not apply to users who sign in to TrustMe via FranceConnect, for whom this information is not requested.
It’s essential that the documents provided are official and issued in your name, meaning they must show your exact name. Documents in another person’s name will not be accepted.
Accepted documents
The following documents are considered valid to prove your social security number:
- Carte Vitale (French health insurance card)
- Certificate of entitlement to health insurance (Assurance Maladie)
- Carte Vitale certificate
- MGEN certificate
Important: all these documents must show your exact name and be legible. Documents created or altered by yourself will not be accepted.
Best practices for submitting your documents
To make validating your social security number easier, please follow these recommendations:
- Only provide official documents issued in your name
- Make sure all important information is visible: your name, your social security number, the issue date, and the issuing organization.
- Submit the document as a PDF or a clear photo.
